Tyreek Hill, Tyrell Williams, Spencer Ware Trade Notes from Rabbitt…

Notes from the Handicapping group’s own ‘Rabbitt’…and serial dynasty league player. He works about 50 to 700 dynasty leagues I year, closer to 50+…

With rookie drafts shaking up to be a complete crap shoot this year, where I feel I can get just as good of a player at 1.10 as 2.10, I have identified 3 players I feel are undervalued, and am targeting them heavily.  The results to me were very successful.

My goal was the following-  Use my 1.07+ picks to acquire – Spencer Ware or Tyrell Williams.  Aiming for a little sugar where possible as well. My other goal was to acquire Tyreek Hill – at any reasonable price.

In the first two cases I felt like Samaje Perine and O.J. Howard would probably be gone.  Ware will have one more year as the lead back in KC at least.  Hunt is more of a threat to West than Ware this year in my opinion.  Usage history of RB’s with Reid supports me.  He is also a free agent next year, and can take over a lead back role somewhere else, hopefully.  Worst case, I see him as the lead dog in a committee much like last year, which produced RB#16 numbers in PPR.  For a late first round pick, that is gravy.  However, the community seems to disagree.

Tyrell Williams apparently doesn’t exist, so that makes him easy to trade for.  People are freaked by the drafting of a WR that high as well.  I’m not *that* worried.  You would think he is a ghost after being WR #18 last year, again in PPR.

Hill is a freak. This is our last chance to get him.  Everyone wants to question if he can repeat last year with limited touches.  I don’t understand why that is a question and “what can he do if they give him more touches?” isn’t.

These are every week starters – available for late round picks.  There is some risk with these guys no doubt, but what part of fantasy isn’t?

Here are some moves I have made for reference (there are more to come)…

His Hill for My 2018 1st

His Hill for My 1.09

It won’t be long now… 2017 Fantasy Football Draft Guide time is nearly upon us! Our seventh annual edition over at Fantasy Football Metrics.com. It’s a fantasy draft guide like none other – updated nearly every day from our June launch to opening kickoff. 500+ players projected with thousands of words of commentary for the 2017 season based on our tape scouting, computer models for the 2017 season and the schedule impact. We nailed it out of the gates on Jordan Howard, Tyrell Williams, Rishard Matthews and so many more – pulling sleepers out of thin air and avoiding many landmines. And of course, David Johnson as our ‘top guy’ for 2016…just like we had him rated higher than anyone else in the dynasty rookie draft in 2015, a major sleeper in our 2015 fantasy football draft guide and ranked #1 among all fantasy options going into 2016…we never wavered. You need to know about these guys before everyone else…not debating how high to rank them once they are stars – anyone can do that. We find talent and value year-round, ahead of the masses.

Coming in June 2017, so start the countdown! We have several new ‘things’ planned for 2017. It’s going to be our most ambitious draft guide package ever. It won’t be long now…
